The back cover and centrefold were taken at Berwick St. Soho and Advision Studios in London's West End one rainy night in 1982. The label was originally designed by Will Hill in 1980, for the Beach Bullies album We Rule The Universe.

Road To Heaven is the Beach Bullies’ long-awaited (!) follow up to 1980’s We Rule The Universe, a minimalist cult classic revived and re-released in 2015 by Manufactured Recordings of Brooklyn. This new collection of songs was recorded at Bassment Space and SmithSound, as a celebration of a muse re-discovered, and an old intention finally realised.
